wow, so many shows coming out from you!! And, now I see why.
well, that's good news for me ;-)
*spoiler alert* I read (mysterious) Fey's comments above, so now I know the story, though i'm only actually 4min in to the show. damn.
Scotty "knapsack is bulging" Aussie-Battler - Hey Fey Driver, thanks for your kind words. I didn't mean to make you or anyone sad! To be practical, I suspect most existing listeners have already heard the old episodes and most new listeners are unlikely to go back and listen to my backlog of episodes. But I can burn them onto a CD or DVD and mail them to any interested parties. Trust me, you'll get much more of my unique perspective in future episodes. I've really only scratched the surface.

I listened to this episode with mixed feelings. I was happy to hear that you are turning a corner in your life and consequently with your podcast and making a new start. I believe that we humans typically re-invent ourselves, our personalities, our outlook on life, and we mature about once every decade. And I believe we cling too dearly to the past and need to "let go" of traumatic events that may have happened to us in the past - it's important to learn from our experiences yet not carry them around like knapsacks full of trophies.
Whereas I support you in making a drastic cut to remove your previous episodes, it saddens me somewhat to learn that they will no longer be available. Your perspective on the world is unique and peppered with a kind of wisdom that few people possess, and it is unfortunate that you won't allow future listeners the opportunity to hear your take on things.
Fortunately, I have already saved about 50 of my favourite "Musings" episodes, so I will be able to consult my library whenever I need some wise words. :-)
Congratulations on the beginning of your new era. I can't wait to hear what comes of it.
