This is a repost of my 2009 year in review episode. There are a lot of dark subjects in this episode. But I had to deal with them in order to move on. I'm in a much beter place now. Comments[4]

- Thanks Toppie and Scotty for your comments. Toppie, if Scotty can make it to Las Vegas next year, certainly you can!
My decision to archive my old episodes seems to make sense to no one but me. It's not that I think the old episodes were terrible, but I felt like they were starting the pile up like on an episode of Horders.
I had to let them go make the focus of MTW the present and not the past.
There were also some copyright violations so I wanted to protect myself legally.
I also wanted to make a clean start and don't want new listeners to feel like they had to go through three years of episodes.
But I appreciate the folks who noticed that I archived the old episodes. It shows me that people care. - Well Mark, I guess I just don't "get" why you took down your history on MTW. I've listened to both this and the last Year in review and although I have heard them both before there were things that I forgot about and were reminded of again. And, well... it was all great content. I mean... for those of us who podcast, its admittedly rare that anyone might delve into our old shows when there is always new content coming out on MTW, or the Smellcast, but at least it is (or was in your case)an option. That history is a part of you and a part of MTW. It spans a number of years. That's something to be proud of and it has value. It's not like these files were taking up space in your living room. From your way of thinking, why not just erase all your episodes after two months? Well that would be silly wouldn't it? This is just my two cents but you and your show has evolved and MTW's history should be preserved, not discarded or hidden. I think the two Year in review shows support my position. Say.... have you been watching that TV show "Hoarders?" Is THAT what's going on??? Why I ough'ta.... Listen, if we have to start worrying about our digital hoarding, then we're all in trouble. Well, I've said my piece. I think it's a shame what you've done and I just don't "get" it. Now I'm going to have to start saving all your episodes myself lest you follow through with my sarcasm and start deleting your files after two months.... *** sigh *** Listen here Mr. Man..... if you have any other hair-brained ideas you better start running them by me first. ;)
